The Daviess County High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is a Congressionally-chartered citizenship development program. Its mission is to instill in students the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment. This is taught through the lens of our shared American maritime heritage. The NJROTC program emphasizes college and career readiness, and encourages and provides opportunities for community outreach and volunteerism, physical activity, leadership, and involvement in local and regional civic events. Enrolling in NJROTC also provides avenues for friendly interscholastic competition in a multitude of teams and events. NJROTC is available as an elective credit for all four years of High School, a Health and PE credit for Freshmen, a performing arts credit for sophomores, and can provide a meaningful automatic pay raise at the end of boot camp for those who wish to enlist after High School. AACCC is committed to providing affordable healthcare to patients aged 2 to 102 with two clinic locations and a mobile unit, and provides a full range of preventative, primary health care and behavioral health services. Audubon Area Community Care Clinic is now accepting new patients and accepts all forms of insurance including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurances. For patients that do not have insurance, AACCC offers a sliding fee scale and payment plans.
