FVFD Ladder Truck & Antique Fire Truck (driving B. Massengill)
1. The 45 Mack Fire Truck was completely restored and returned to the firefighters in 2020 through donations and coordination by the Fuquay-Varina Volunteer Firefighters Organization. This truck was the first NEW fire truck purchased by the Town of Fuquay-Varina and will be on permanent display when Fire Station #4 opens in 2023.
2. The 2001 100 ' Platform Ladder Truck is assigned to Fire Station #1 downtown and has served this town well. It will be replaced with a newer model as a late Christmas present in early 2022 with a re-designed paint scheme.

Fuquay-Varina High School Baseball Team
The Fuquay-Varina High School Varsity baseball team ended a very successful 2020-2021 season by winning the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4A state title this past June in a three game series against Reagan High School. The Bengals Baseball state title followed a16 and 4 Spring season, where the team went 10 and 2 in their conference, finishing in first place there as well. The Varsity Bengals were coached by Zach Boraski and Milton Senter, who have led the team to many victories in their tenure at FVHS. The Bengal Baseball team takes the field this year back at the new FVHS campus on Bengal Boulevard, and their first regular season game is March 8th.
