The Plano East Marching Band Honors & Awards: 38 years consecutive UIL Sweepstakes Awards for Superior Ratings in Marching, Concert Performance and Sight Reading. Named Grand Champions of the 2019 Tournament of Champions with caption awards for Outstanding Marching and Outstanding Musical Performance. Recognized by the John Philip Sousa Foundation with the Sudler Shield for exhibiting world class excellence.

The Plano East Senior High School JROTC Panther Battalion marches with pride as the cadets are readying for their First Semester Exams and the Christmas and New Year Holidays. The cadets are taught drill and ceremony by two of the best at their craft, Sergeant First Class Pete Loredo and Command Sergeant Major Michael Franklin.

Plano ISD Junior ROTC
Plano ISD Junior ROTC Color Guard (Color Guard at the beginning of the parade) consists of US, TX and Plano Flags with two riflemen)
The Parade Color Guard represents the three Plano Junior Reserve Officer Training Programs located at each of the Senior High Schools. The United States Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program began in 1974 at Plano High School under the direction of Colonel Curtis Fish. As Plano grew, so did the Program. The Plano East program was added in 1982 and the Plano West program began in 1999. Together these three schools boast an enrollment of over 350 JROTC Cadets.
Each of these three schools are Honor Units with Distinction placing them in the top ten percent of all Junior ROTC Programs Nationwide.
The Plano Junior ROTC District Coordinator is Lieutenant Colonel Barry Rhoden.

Plano Senior Wildcat Battalion
The Plano Senior High School Wildcat Battalion is the original Junior ROTC for Plano ISD. Formed in 1974, the battalion has a proud history of accomplishments and service. Each year the Wildcat Battalion conducts hundreds of hours of school and community service. Additionally, the battalionâs award winning marksmanship, drill, color guard, academic, leadership, and physical fitness teams compete in numerous skills meets throughout north Texas. The Senior Army Instructor is Lieutenant Colonel Barry Rhoden and the Army Instructors are First Sergeant Nicolas Hill and Sergeant First Class John Kell. This yearâs Battalion Commander is Cadet Major Alexia Molina and the Cadet Command Sergeant Major is Cameron Cook

Plano West Mighty Wolf Band
The Plano West Mighty Wolf Band will perform the Plano West Senior High School Fight Song and âAn American Christmasâ featuring: "March of the Toy Soldiers", "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", and "Jingle Bells Forever". Drum majors for the Mighty Wolf Band are Joey Allen, Camille Heidelbaugh, and Taylor Kapple (rhymes with apple). Band directors are Jackie Digby, Preston Pierce, and Justin Myers with assistance from percussion instructors Nicole Robbins and Juan Torres and Guard instructors Lance Powell and Ryan Sheehan. The Mighty Wolf Band recently earned First Division Ratings at the McKinney Marching Invitational and the UIL Region 25 Marching Contest.

The Royales love to dance and support the Wolfpack when performing at football and basketball performances; and are honored to represent Plano West at drill team competitions, spring shows and various community events throughout the year! Great Dane Club of Greater Dallas
Great Dane Club of Greater Dallas promotes the breed standard for Great Danes. We strive for the betterment of the Great Dane through education and exhibition. Our Danes participate in conformation, agility, nose work, and obedience. We also involve our Danes in community volunteer programs as therapy dogs.
The Starcatchers program is the therapeutic arts branch of North Texas Performing Arts dedicated to youth and adults with special needs. The Starcatchers put on large scale musicals and concerts, as well as offer smaller camps and workshops. With their mission to illuminate abilities through the performing arts, everyone is given an opportunity to shine. Join us!

The Blue Thunder Drumline is composed of 4th and 5th grade students at Saigling Elementary School in Plano, Texas. Members rehearse once a week, after school, beginning in November. This is Blue Thunder Drumline's sixth year, and their first Plano Lions parade appearance.
