Highland High School Marching Band
The Highland Marching Band is in its 27th season as a competitive marching band. This band competes all over the southwest United States and has consistently won field competitions in California, Nevada, and here in Arizona which includes winning the first ever ABODA State Marching Band Championship in 2009 and AzMBA Championships in 2016. The Highland Marching Band has had the privilege to march in the 2001 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, the 2004 Macyââ¬â¢s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and here at home in the Gilbert Dayââ¬â¢s Parade.

The Gilbert Tiger Pride is one of the most decorated marching bands in the State of Arizona. The band has been a finalist every year in the Arizona State Marching Band Championships since it began in 2008.
The Tiger Pride has performed in the 1998 Rose Bowl Parade, the 2001 Presidential Inauguration Parade, 2008 St. Patrickââ¬â¢s Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland, the 2012 National Independence Parade in Washington D.C., the 2015 London New Yearââ¬â¢s Day Parade and the 2017 Waikiki Holiday Parade. The band has been invited back to the 2021 London New Yearââ¬â¢s Day Parade.

Iron Mason Super Hero Fan Club
This 1977 Ford C900 firetruck was originally used by the Grand Canyon fire department. It was restored by the Rowley family to lift their son and nephew, Mason Rowley during his battle with brain cancer. During this time, Mason earned the nickname IronMason for his will to push through some difficult times and never complained or felt sorry for himself. Mason passed away on June 13, 2018 just a few days shy of his 17th birthday. The Rowley family and Mason's friends call themselves the IronMason super hero fan club and would like to raise awareness for pediatric cancer and recognize the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children and their cause in supporting families through the difficulty of dealing with pediatric cancer.

Cub Scout Pack and Scout Troop 522 are traditional units located in Gilbert, AZ and chartered in November 2009 through Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
The Pack & Troop is in the Lost Dutchman District of the Grand Canyon Council. We currently have over 70 boys in both units.
Pack & Troop 522 provide a quality scouting program to youth in Gilbert, Mesa, Higley, Queen Creek and San Tan Valley.
