Officer in Charge ââ¬â Chief Warrant Officer 2, Stephen Howell
Drum Major ââ¬â Staff Sergeant William Fariss
Since November 10th, 1775, when the newly formed Continental Marines marched to fifes and drums in the Revolutionary War, music has been an integral part of the United States Marine Corps. Today, the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Band continues to carry on the proud tradition of excellence in military music that has become the hallmark of the Marine music program.
The 2D Marine Aircraft Wing was commissioned on July 19, 1941 at Naval Air Station, San Diego, CA. At the outbreak of the Second World War, the Wing had squadrons based at San Diego, Hawaii, Wake Island, and on the Aircraft carriers Lexington and Saratoga. Throughout the war, the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing participated in many of the major engagements in the Pacific Theater including Midway, Guadalcanal, Saipan, Tinian, Guam, and Okinawa. Since April of 1946, the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing has been located at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina, and participated in Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
Consisting of 51 Marine Musicians, the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Band is a highly trained and versatile musical organization. The 2d Marine Aircraft Wing band performs for millions of people in over 300 performances a year and is proud to be here in Boston for this St. Patrickââ¬â¢s Day.

The organization advances research and awareness of the safe, legal use of medical marijuana for veterans. ATV believes that all of our returning veterans deserve access to the options that best address their unique health care needs. Boston Chapter Team Red, White and Blue
Team RWB is a non-profit veterans outreach organization. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Americaââ¬â¢s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
We define enrichment as creating quality relationships and experiences that contribute to life satisfaction and overall well-being. The concept of enrichment consists of three core componentsââ¬âhealth, people, and purposeââ¬âthat comprise a rich life.
Health: Creating frequent opportunities for team members to connect through fitness, sports, and recreation to improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
People: Creating authentic connections (defined as genuine, quality, supportive relationships that generate mutual trust and accountability), reflected in an increased number of close relationships and improvements in teammatesââ¬â¢ sense of belonging, purpose, and community engagement.
Purpose: Engaging members in meaningful team and community-based experiences such as leadership and service that, beyond physical and social activities, renew self-identity and purpose in life.
We accomplish our mission via our two core programs: our Chapter and Community Program and our Eagle Leadership Development Program.

Formed in 1992 after Boston Police Officer Jeremiah Hurley, a member of the Boston Police Departmentââ¬â¢s Ordnance Disposal Unit (Bomb Squad), was killed In The Line Of Duty while defusing an explosive device, there were no police bagpipe bands anywhere in New England, and the New York Transit Police pipe band was called on to play. On that day, the seeds were sown to form the Boston Police Gaelic Column. Our roots are Irish and Boston, as such we are extremely proud to participate every year in South Boston's St. Patrick's Day Parade !

We are an all volunteer charity whose goal is to help families who have a child with cancer.
Our charity began as a golf rivalry between Captain Dowââ¬â¢s Boston Police team and members of Irelandââ¬â¢s Garda Siochana, led by Detective Pat Hanlon. That small group determined that the event should raise funds to be donated to a local hospital, specifically to help children with cancer. Here we are, over a decade later, carrying on their wonderful mission.
The funds that we raise go to people directly involved in the care of children with cancer, with each family typically receiving $5,000. There are many organizations raising money for important research, but our goal is to help the children and their caregivers through this most difficult crisis.
n addition to the crushing emotional toll taken, there is a financial domino effect in having a child diagnosed with cancer. Most often, one parent must leave a job. Some treatments are not fully covered by insurance. Itââ¬â¢s expensive to come to the city every day to be with your child ââ¬â gas costs, parking fees and meals can add up quickly, and all this on a income already cut in half. Families, once solvent, now find themselves on the financial brink.
WE CAN ALL HELP. Our donations have, for example, saved a family from eviction, helped pay down overwhelming bills and paid to repair the only vehicle used to travel back and forth to the hospital. The situations are heartbreaking and all too real.
In recent years, including the hospital donations, we have given to over 480 families in need, totaling more than $2,420,000 in and around New England. Thatââ¬â¢s a lot of fundraising for a small charity, and the more the word gets out, the more requests we get.
We are always grateful for your support, either by donation or by participating in a fundraising event. Please support Cops for Kids with Cancer so we never have to deny a struggling family a helping hand.

His Majesty's Tenth Regiment of Foot in America is a historically re-created infantry unit formed to portray the service of the British Army during the American War for Independence.
Composed of three types of soldiers, Grenadiers, Light Infantry, and Battalion, as well as a company of Music and a Corps of Civilian Volunteers, the members of the Tenth are accurately uniformed, equipped, and trained in 18th century military drill and life so that we appear in public as members of the British Army would have in 1775.
The Tenth Regiment played an important role in the early events of the American Revolution. On April 19th, 1775, the Light Infantry and Grenadier companies were part of the expeditionary force sent by General Gage to capture the arms being stockpiled by the militia in Concord, MA. On that day, the Light Infantry Company was present at both Lexington Green and Concord's North Bridge when the First Shot and the Shot Heard 'Round the World were fired. Both companies were engaged in the skirmish at Bloody Angle, near Lincoln, MA, and were joined by the Battalion companies, who had come out as part of Hugh Earl Percy's relief column, for the desperate retreat back to Boston along what has become known as Battle Road.
At the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775, the Grenadier Company took part in those three fateful charges up Breed's Hill towards Prescott's fortified line, while the Light Infantry Company participated in the ill-fated attack along the beach against Stark's men guarding the rebel's left flank. On March 17th, 1776 the Tenth, along with all British forces in Boston, was evacuated to Nova Scotia as a result of the American's siege of Boston.
In parades, the Tenth appears with three companies of soldiers, our music (fife and drum), our Regimental and King's Colours, and our civilian followers. As per our organization's safety regulations, we do not fire our muskets on parades.

Lexington Minute Men
The Lexington Minute Men is the second oldest independent military organization in the Western Hemisphere. Chartered by the Massachusetts Governor's Council on Sept. 6, 1689, the unit was originally known as the Second Military Company in Cambridge. The Lexington Minute Men were reinvigorated in 1773 and 1774 to protect their town against the tyrannies of Great Britain. This unit was the first to take up arms against the King's Troops, and at dawn on April 19, 1775, the first shots and bloodshed of the American Revolution took place on Lexington Common, where the first American war casualties fell in action. Later in the war, the unit served honorably in the campaigns at Ticonderoga, Boston, Saratoga, Rhode Island, and the Jerseys. The Company was re-chartered in 1874 ahead of an official visit by President Ulysses S. Grant, and at this time adopted its distinctive "buff and blue" uniform. The unit currently operates under a charter granted on May 5, 1910 by Gov. Eben S. Draper which permanently established the Minute Men as an independent, unattached military command in the Commonwealth. The Company has served as honor guard to presidents and governors including President Taft and Gov. Cellucci, and marched in at least eight Inaugural Parades in Washington, D.C. including those of Presidents Wilson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Carter, and Clinton. Today's Lexington Minute Men are dedicated to honoring those brave patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nationââ¬â¢s freedom -- from those who first fell on Lexington Common to the heroes of today. The unit promotes patriotism through parades, ceremonies, and educational living history programs. Recently, the Company lined the steps of the Massachusetts State House as an honor guard during Gov. Charlie Baker's inauguration; marched in the Sail Boston Festival and went aboard the USS ââ¬â¹Whidbey Islandââ¬â¹; and laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Lexington Minute Men Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery. The Company is led today by Lexington native CPT Larry Conley, the 75th commander since 1689. CPT Conley's chief of staff is Past Commander William Delay, a descendant of CPT John Parker who commanded the Minute Men in the Battle of Lexington in 1775.

Three Piece Suit Football
My name is Vic Morency, Boston Chapter President of Three Piece Suit Football (www.threepiecesuitfootball.com) a charity organization which organize an annual golf tournament (Newton Comm Golf Course in May) and play a tackle football game (Rogers Park Brighton in Oct) in three-piece suits for our charity, Operation Delta Dog (https://www.operationdeltadog.org/). OpDD focuses on rescuing sheltered dogs and training them to be service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD. Helping dogs as well as our service men and women who make the ultimate sacrifice for us is something we strongly believe in!
Here are the events leading to our Football game weekend (10/20 LAST YEAR):
5/19
Golf Tournament:
2nd Annual Golf Tournament with golf, food and raffle prizes.
9/30
The Allston/Brighton Parade:
The Annual Allston Brighton Parade starts at noon. We walked in the parade and had players as volunteers to wear swag and hand out mini footballs with information about our last game. We would be doing the same thing in the St. Patricks day parade but to a much larger scale!
10/19
TPSF Pre-game Player Introduction Party at The Causeway in Boston:
This is where players met for the first time and were introduced in their game suits to the introduction song of their choosing, WWE style. You won't believe some of the suits players come up with... Its was great way for the friends and families of the players to meet and also to promote and sell raffle tickets for the last game. The pre-game party event started at 7:30 PM, player intros were at 8:30 PM. We also added a party bus for a pub crawl around Boston/Allston/Brighton for player appreciation and to further promote our game!
10/20
TPSF Boston 2018:
Game Day! Played our game from 2-6. It came down to a 2 pt conversion to win and was the closest game in TPSF Boston history!
We also worked with Ken Brissette, director of Tourism in Boston to help with our event permitting.
6PM
TPSF Post-game Party at The Last Drop:
The post-game after party at the Last Drop in Brighton with raffle prizes, food, and drinks.
We raised around $28K at our events last year with all our proceeds going to Operation Delta Dog!
We also have a chapter in Atlanta which has been playing their game on Super Bowl Saturday for the past 10 years! They are partnered with Pets for Vets Georgia and have recently also partnered with Mike Periera of Fox Sports and his Battlefields 2 Ballfields charity (https://www.battlefields2ballfields.org/). He has graciously donated Patriots tickets which we raffled off at our game and upcoming Super Bowl tickets for the Atlanta game!
We think our charity organization fits perfectly with the theme of the St. Patrick's Day parade. We are a local organization, which supports a local charity which helps sheltered dogs and veterans. With your help we can get added exposure and raise even more money for our charity!
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have (I have plenty of pictures/videos).

The New England Revolution, competing in Major League Soccer, are the primary professional soccer club in the New England region. We currently play our home matches at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. The Revolution proudly represent our communityââ¬â¢s historic roots in the American Revolution. Riding in the duck boat is their street team, known as The Battalion, and their mascot, Slyde. They proudly carry the flag of New England, flown in the region throughout the Revolutionary War. This flag adorns the Revolution jerseys to remind the club and supporters alike that we proudly represent the historic region of New England. On January 1, 2019 the Revs unveiled their new Colonial themed secondary jersey inspired by colonial uniforms in the Revolutionary War and one battle in particular: The Battle of Dorchester Heights, fought on March 17, 1776, better known as Evacuation Day. The Revs are proud to reflect Bostonââ¬â¢s Irish and military roots year after year through the themes of Evacuation Day and St. Patrickââ¬â¢s Day during this parade.
