Annandale Boy Scouts experience many things most kids never get a chance to even try. From rope climbing, spelunking (cave exploring), hiking through the wilderness, winter camping, whitewater rafting, canoeing, shooting black powder rifles and much more, Boy Scouts know how to have high-adventure fun. While we have a lot of fun in Scouts, along the way we pick up some other good lessons, like advanced leadership training, safety training, moral and character building, helping others, community service, and reverence to our faith.

A Salute to the Troops
A salute to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Displayed alongside the 15-by-25 foot American flag are the flags of each military branch, honoring those who served in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
Today we proudly recognize all who have served and continue to serve our nation, and we pay special tribute to our POWs and MIAs - those who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action. Their sacrifice and the sacrifices of their families will never be forgotten. We proudly fly the POW/MIA flag as a symbol of our nation's unwavering determination to bring those POWs and MIAs home.
As we celebrate our nation's 250th year of independence; let us remember the courage, dedication, and selfless service of the men and women who protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

The Minneapolis Aquatennial has finished celebrating its 86th year. Festival founders selected the 3rd week in July because this week has the best weather on record for the year. The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization exists to inspire young Minnesota women to achieve extraordinary futures by providing professional development opportunities through networking and mentoring. The Annandale Community Band has been playing for the Annandale area since 1993. Members come from as far away as Rockford, Monticello, Cokato, Maple Lake and South Haven, to name a few. Their music consists of Ameriana, gospel, showtunes, pop and rock and much more.
