Stormbots
Alright everyone, get ready to be inspired! We're shining a spotlight on an incredible group from our community: the Chanhassen High School Robotics team, the Stormbots!
These aren't just any high school students. The Stormbots are part of a massive, global phenomenon, competing against 200 other high school teams in Minnesota and 3,400 teams worldwide!
Every January, the new robot challenge is revealed. From that moment, they have just eight weeks to design, build, program, and rigorously test their robot. Talk about a deadline!
But it's so much more than just robots. These students learn invaluable skills: responsible leadership, teamwork, meeting deadlines, and gaining insights from industry professionals. And it takes many students with diverse interests to run this team â from fundraising and marketing to graphic design.
They do all of this while having a blast and truly coming together as a team to compete. So, if you want to see innovation and teamwork in action, be sure to check out the Chanhassen High School Stormbots! Let's hear it for them!

Nevertheless, she carved out time to serve thirteen years as Chair of Excelsior Farmersâ Market, sponsored Excelsiorâs FanFair, served as a STRIVE mentor to Chanhassen High School students since 2016, led Girl Scouts for a half dozen years, hosted an exchange student, hosted an international teacher, served on the Board of Humanity Alliance, and most recently, helped form a local affiliate of Dolly Partonâs Imagination Library. Since 2015, Maud has been a member of the Rotary Club of Chanhassen and recipient of multiple Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Awards. âBe the change you want to seeâ. Nobody had to tell Maud twice. Chick-fil-A Chanhassen
Parade Announcer Script: Updated for 2024
âChick-fil-A Chanhassen has been proudly serving the Chanhassen community since 2017. The franchise is owned and operated by Andrew Armstrong and his family, residents of Chanhassen. Chick-fil-A is proud to support our local community, especially through college scholarships.
Back in 1995, a renegade cow, paintbrush in mouth, painted the three words, âEAT MORE CHIKIN,â on a Texas billboard. From that day forward, the burger-eating landscape was forever changed. These fearless cows, acting in enlightened self-interest, realized that when people eat chicken, they donât eat beef. Today, the Cows herds have increased and their message reaches millions - through television, radio, online, and on the occasional water tower. Needless to say, we fully endorse and appreciate the efforts made by our most beloved bovine friends.
