Altamont Cruisers escorting the Grand Marshall
Here come the Altamont Cruisers! Tonight they're escorting our Grand Marshall. Check out this really cool 1947 model CJ2A -- the first civilian model produced after the end of WW2. This jeep is owned by Bob and Donna Pleva.
Bon and Donna have our Grand Marshall on board, Granada High School Baseball, Head Coach, Corrigan Willis. Corrigan was named Cal-High Sports head coach of the year! Corrigan led the Granada Baseball team this year to the North Coast Section championship AND the CIF NorCal Championships. The Granada baseball team finished out a near-perfect season with an impressive and history-making, 32-1 season! Corrigan is joined by his wife and two sons, Bryce and Ryan who are being escorted by Kelly and Michele O'Hair in their 1947 Mercury. Congrats on a great season Cowboys!
The Altamont Cruisers is a local car club. They sponsor the annual Nostalgia Day Car Show in Downtown Livermore the last Sunday in September where approximately 800 classic vehicles are on display.
To date the Altamont Cruisers have donated nearly $1 million dollars to local charities and youth organizations.
Next year, the 36th annual Nostalgia Day Car Show will be held on Sunday, September 28th.

Here comeâs Wheels, bringing holiday cheer with this 1966 Rideo bus owned by the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority. This bus was originally part of Livermore's Rideo fleet. When Wheels assumed operation of Tri-Valley bus services in the mid-1980s, it acquired this historic treasure from the City of Livermore. The bus was in need of major restoration, and the board of directors secured federal funding to rehabilitate this piece of Livermore's history to its former glory. The Cowboy Marching Band
The award winning Livermore High School Cowboy Marching Band is made up of over 100 students and represents the largest school music program in Livermore. The LHS music department is also the longest continuous running public school music program in the state of California and now includes over 350 students in multiple bands, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, and percussion groups. Diablo Ladies travel all over Northern California performing at various rodeos . Diablo Ladies are the main equestrian drill team for the historic Grand National Rodeo .The team consists of ladies from the age of 13 to don't ask , horses are primarily quarter horses and ages range from5-22 . The Diablo Ladies love what they do and love promoting the equestrian life style.
