The St. Augustine Catholic Church Menâs Choir, under the direction of Jared Post, is excited to once again participate in the Oktoberfest Parade. Today, the Menâs Choir is performing some of their favorite 4-part Barbershop Tunes. The Menâs Choir turns 117 years old this year, making it one of the longest active Catholic Church Menâs Choirs in the United States. Chickasaw Fire Department put Ladder 1101 in-service in March of 2024. Ladder 1101 was Manufacture by Smeal. This truck is equipped with a 107-foot ladder, has a 2,000-gallon minute pump, and carries 500 gallons of water and 200 gallons of foam. Auglaize county Carteens are made up of 4-h youth ages 15-18 years old. They hold monthly meetings where they teach peers alcohol awareness, seat belt safety, speeding regulations, and other traffic related issues. With them today, is their crash simulator, it shows what happens when individuals do not wear their seatbelts. It simulates a crash going 22 miles per hour. The group takes it all over promoting seat belt safety.

Since 1987 The Wapak Optimist Precision Lawnmower Drill team has preformed in over 175 parades in front of over one million spectators. They have brought home awards from many of those parades including the Minster Oktoberfest Parade, The Dayton Airshow Parade and the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade.
Lead by Team Captian Todd Mow Meier, his fellow members take pride in customizing their own lawnmowers. When not marching in parades, the Optimists support many youth sports and scolastic projects.
