Clearwater Fire & Rescue

Clearwater Fire and Rescue is made up of 23 brave men and women. There are many steps that have to be completed before these men and women are ready to be a service to the community.  They have to go through a physical to make sure they are healthy and can handle the many different exposures the fire department may come upon.  Next, they have to complete a Fire Fighter One course, which is a two- month course to learn how to use the necessary equipment to control and extinguish a fire.  After completing the Fire Fighter One course they need a First Responder course which enables them to be first on the scene to prepare a patient for the ambulance.  Once these requirements have been met these brave firefighters are ready to tackle the needs of the community.
